Steak Crostini
Always a crowd-pleaser, this steak crostini makes for a great appetizer or small bite! The key is to get a high quality loaf of crusty bread and fresh garlic to bring it to life. The result is the perfect quick bite for entertaining!
Arrange on a wood board or platter for a fun display!

1 lb filet mignon (or steak cut of choice)
1 sourdough baguette (thinly sliced)
8 oz burrata
1 tbsp porcini powder
2 garlic cloves
Olive oil
Salt & pepper
Fresh chives

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Season the steak with salt, pepper, and porcini powder.
Toast the sliced baguette for 5-10 minutes in the oven.
While baguette is toasting, heat a skillet with olive oil. Sear the steak for a couple minutes on each side.
Finish cooking the steak in the oven, about 10 minutes for medium-well.
Once baguette has finished toasting, remove from oven and smear a clove of garlic on one face of each slice.
Top each slice of bread with some sliced burrata, steak, salt, pepper, and freshly chopped chives.
